GSE Mechanic - Full time
Ground Service Equipment Mechanic to inspect, service and maintain ground support equipment used in aviation operations
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and/or overhaul aviation ground support equipment
- Perform servicing/repairing, lubricating, cleaning, period checking of diesel and gas-powered equipment
- Lay-out, planning and execution of maintenance assignments
Seasonal Line Service Crew (September - April) - A Shift (5 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.) / Part Time Shifts Available
B Shift (1:30 - 10 p.m.) / Part Time Shifts Available
Our line service department provides 24-hour fuel, de-icing and ground support for commercial and general aviation customers.
Line service crew members are responsible for providing exceptional customer service as well as de-icing, fueling, towing and hangaring of aircraft.
All positions require:
- Valid New York State driver's license and good safety record
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays
- Ability to qualify for an Airport ID by successfully completing a 10-year background check (including educational institutions and employment verification)
- Able to successfully complete pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screens
- Excellent dependability, communication and professionalism
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with efficiency and accuracy
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather environments
